    The Local 10-00086 union meeting will take place Monday, February 13th at the Towamencin Firehouse on Bustard Rd. in Kulpsville, Pa.  Meeting begins promptly at 5pm.  Part of the evening's agenda will be the nomination and election of Judges and Tellers for the upcoming officer elections in April.  If you wish to be considered for either position you must either must be in attendance or deliver a signed letter stating your intent to the President or the Recording Secretary prior to the meeting.

    Nomination and election of Judges and Tellers will take place at the February 13th Membership Meeting.  Officer, Executive Board and Plant Committee nominations will occur at the March meeting.  Officer elections will be held Monday,  April 16th in the Bldg. 38 Assembly Room from 6am until 7pm.  If necessary, runoffs will be held the following day, April 17th.  Also of note: a motion was made and carried at the January Membership Meeting to re-open tabled motion regarding a By-Laws change to Article 8/Section 5 - Expenditures.

    In December the Executive Board received Lean Six Sigma training from the International.  The presentation was remarkably different than what members might be familiar with as given here on the plant site, most notably in regards to its ergonomic applications.  Given the Company's current initiatives and intent to implement work standardization policies we expect ergonomics to be a big topic of discussion during the coming year.  Union leadership and your Safety Committee will be sharing our newfound insights in the near future.
