This week's Spotlight features John Tronoski, a 2nd-generation USW member. Here's his story:
I've been with the union and Merck for the past 17 years, starting right after high school. During this time, I've truly grasped the essence of being in a union—supporting fellow brothers and sisters and receiving the assistance we need when it matters. Moreover, we enjoy the assurance that our wages and jobs remain secure for the future.
Outside of work, I devote any extra time to my family and my auto detailing and window tinting business.
In my personal life, I cherish spending quality time with my family. I've been happily married to my wife, Tiffany, for the past 5 years, and we have two beautiful daughters, Charlie and Parker, with another daughter on the way, expected in April 2024. Although my favorite hobby, riding dirt bikes and quads, has taken a back seat lately, I hope to share this passion with my daughters and turn it into a family activity. Additionally, I run a small automotive detailing and window tint business, and it's gratifying to know that many of our union brothers and sisters are also my customers.
