This week we are introducing a very active and passionate member of our Local, so without further ado let’s meet her. 

Greetings Union members,

I'm Anastasia Adams, but most call me Stasi or Ana. I'm excited to announce that I am the new Chair of the Next Gen Committee for our local chapter.

Originally from Upper Darby, PA, I've spent most of my adult life in Phoenixville, PA. Prior to joining Merck, I dedicated over a decade to the service industry, primarily as a bartender in various establishments across Phoenixville and Norristown. My journey into the union began over five years ago when a longtime regular and friend, who had been a maintenance person here for over 25 years, introduced me to this community.

My involvement with Next Gen is fueled by the inspiration I drew from Yen Hoang. Her passion and knowledge motivated me to actively contribute and assist others. With her guidance, I aim to expand Next Gen by engaging members of all ages and have exciting events lined up for the year 2024.

Beyond the workplace, my interests include taking walks and hikes with my two dogs, Archer and Pea. I love traveling to new states with my furry companions and spending time on any body of water, particularly kayaking and paddleboarding during the warmer seasons. Additionally, you might catch me enjoying a good IPA or cocktail by the fire with friends.

I'm eager to connect with each of you, so don't hesitate to say hello when you see me around Merck.
