The Union will now have a full-time nurse that will be available to all our members and dependents to help them navigate through healthcare issues.  This nurse will be available to assist our members in a variety of ways moving forward including, but not limited to the following:

 

• Visit you at home or in the hospital to assess your care needs.
• Go with you to see doctors, to ask questions and get answers.
• Be your Guide, coach, and advocate for any healthcare issues.
• Make appointments so you can be seen as quickly as possible.
• Identify Providers for all care needs and second opinions.
• Assist you in getting you the things you need, such as healthcare equipment as covered by our medical plan.
• Provide support regarding your treatments or surgery decisions.
