Hey everyone! Going back and forth with the printers, we realized we needed to change the back of the shirt design for our NEXTGEN Autism Fundraiser. This is the new shirt and new order request forms. The shirts will be grey, soft material. We are looking to get a headcount of how many shirts need to be ordered by 4/7. If anyone has any questions or wants a shirt feel free to email/teams me at anastasia.adams@merck.com.

USW Sisters and Brothers,
Hello everyone!
Here’s this weeks job postings. Please pay attention when bidding on a job and make sure it’s the position you want . If you decide after you place a bid that you changed your mind you can remove a bid before the postings end Time. Also please only bid on jobs that you are qualified for , meaning that if you have no qualifications to be a Lab Technician then you shouldn’t bid on the position because it slows down the process of filling the job. You can place your bid with this link http://unionbid.merck.com however this needs to be done from the Merck Intranet. If you are offsite or need help with placing a bid you can place a paper bid at Gate 3 security or a Plant Committee member can make a bid for you if you are out and away during the posting timeframe.

We want to show our very own Robin Drace a very huge thank you for her role in community services . Robin has been with this Local for 30 years this coming March. She has continued to be an exceptional leader in her efforts to support our troops . She has been giving care packages to our military men and woman across seas to the tune of 3000 packages . Last night Steve Walter , retired Army Captain and one of robins first care package recipients was at our local union meeting to present her with the Jefferson Award she won through the International Steelworkers for her community service efforts. So from all of here at the local we want to say to Robin, you are an inspiration to all and from the bottom of our hearts we THANK YOU.

We walked around the mall, chatted in the food court, and had a great time listening to stories of times past. Everyone definitely enjoyed themselves! There is so much we can learn from the generations that came before us. Thank you Emelia Sohn for organizing this event and Toia Hill and Sean D Redmond for coming out to volunteer.
